On April 1, 2002, the Court entered an Amended Final Judgment, in which Compaq (the accused copyright infringer) was awarded $2,765,026.90 in attorney's fees, the largest attorneys fees award ever in a copyright case. Generally, the name describes software that is licensed with fewer restrictions than proprietary licensing models, such as "per copy", "per use" object code only licenses.
