Slip and fall accidents can involve tremendous injuries as the body crashes down because someone other than the injured victim is negligent.<\/p>

The negligence can be not clearing ice or snow, defective or no lighting, holes or defects in the floor, no railing, a foreign or dangerous substance, material or object on the floor or in waiting area or many other causes.<\/p>

These cases are difficult but can and must be pursued to protect and compensate the injured victim.<\/p>

It is necessary to prove notice or constructive notice on the part of the wrongdoer. It must be shown the person, property owner, corporation, business, etc. that is to blame knew or should have known about the condition and failed to correct it.<\/p>

Complicated legal defenses will be raised by the wrongdoer such as comparative negligence (fault on the part of the injured victim) or assumption of the risk (the injured victim assumed the risk and realized the danger).<\/p>
